Concurrent effects of EMG-triggered NMES and anodal tDCS on cortical and behavioural outcome measures: The role of ipsilateral versus contralateral anodal stimulation.

This study examined how combining EMG-triggered neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) with anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) affects both cortical and motor behavioral outcomes, comparing placement of the anode over the ipsilateral versus contralateral hemisphere.
